Two key uses:  1. For connecting water bottles – Connect a 30mm bottle to your SAWYER filter for quick, on-the-go water collection setup.  2. Backflushing – As an inine coupler, attach a 30mm bottle to the drinking end via the adapter to flush clean water back through the filter for maintenance.  Includes two adapters. When combined with the original 28/28mm SAWYER adapter, this setup covers both forward flow and reverse flushing. Made from PE material — ideal for hiking, camping, and emergency prep.
