It's designed as a direct bolt-on replacement to fix common issues such as harsh shifting, delayed engagement, transmission slipping, torque converter shudder, and overheating. Essential to verify your vehicle's casting number (CV6P for GEN2, NOT 9L8P for GEN1), especially for 2013-2014 models which are transition years. Compatible with various Ford Escape, Fusion, Edge, and Lincoln MKC, MKZ models. Professional installation is recommended, along with replacing transmission fluid and filter. May require PCM adaptive learning reset.
