• CRITICAL AIR SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS: This tool is pneumatically demanding. It requires a minimum continuous airflow of 4 CFM at 90 PSI to operate. DO NOT USE with pancake compressors or small tanks under 5 gallons, as they cannot sustain the necessary volume, leading to immediate pressure drops and clogging. For best results, use a 5.0 HP compressor or larger.
• OPERATING PRESSURE & PREP: Rated for 90 PSI Operating Pressure (Max 150 PSI). Features a standard 1/4" NPT air inlet. MANDATORY: Your air supply must be clean and bone-dry. You must use an inline moisture filter/water trap; otherwise, moisture will cause abrasive media to clump inside the gun, resulting in blockage and stoppage.
• GRAVITY-FED SPOT BLASTER DESIGN: This is a lightweight, gravity-fed system designed specifically for precision detail work, small area rust removal, and glass etching (e.g., automotive calipers, engine parts, DIY crafts). NOTE: It has a limited hopper capacity and is not intended for large-scale projects like stripping full car bodies or large frames.
• MEDIA COMPATIBILITY GUIDE: Optimized for use with abrasive grit sizes between #46 and #100. Compatible media includes dry Aluminum Oxide, Silicon Carbide, Glass Beads, and fine Walnut Shells. Do not use coarse media larger than #40 grit, as it will clog the nozzle feed.
