Description

This plastic HDPE 5 gallon lid with spout will fit most buckets between 3.5 to 7 gallons, including those from big box stores. A rubber mallet (not a standard carpentry hammer) MUST be used for the lid to attach properly to a pail. The lids are slotted to provide tamper evidence as some of the areas below the slots around the rim will have to be broken or cut to remove the lid. The covers can be reused, but the tamper evidence lid will show that it has been taken off. - Pull up pour spout for 5 gallon paint bucket has a 38 mm thread. - Also compatible with Letica and Uline pails.

Features

  • FDA compliant plastic 5 gallon lid with spout perfect for a 5 gallon bucket used to pour paint.
  • Compatible with Home Depot 5 gallon bucket and Lowe’s 5 gallon bucket, as well as almost all manufacturer buckets from 3.5 to 7 gallons.
  • Plastic lid constructed of HDPE (high density polyethylene), with a styrene butadiene rubber gasket. The Rieke pouring spout attached to the lid is perfect as a 5 gallon paint spout.
  • Slotted to provide tamper evidence with a gasket to provide secure transport of liquids.
  • Installation tip: rubber mallet MUST be used to secure lid to bucket. Standard carpentry hammers will NOT work. Work your way around the lid with a rubber mallet at least 2 or 3 times to get a tight seal.
