Music From Big Pink (50th Anniversary)

Music from Big Pink, the debut album from The Band. Originally released in 1968 by Capitol Records, includes tracks "The Weight" and "I Shall Be Released." 50th Anniversary Edition CD features a new stereo mix of the album produced by Bob Clearmountain from the original four-track analog master. This new mix achieves a striking clarity and incorporates some previously unreleased chatter from the studio sessions. Also included are outtakes and alternate recordings from the `Big Pink' sessions.
