Description
The USDA recommends pressure canning as the only safe method for low-acid foods. This Presto 23-quart pressure canner is made of heavy-duty aluminum with stay-cool handles and a strong-lock steel lid. It includes a rack to keep jars elevated for liquid circulation and can also function as a large pressure cooker. The lid locks securely during operation, featuring a pop-up pressure indicator, a simple steam release, and an overpressure plug for safety. A deluxe pressure dial gauge provides accurate readings for maintaining constant pressure, especially crucial at higher altitudes. The canner works on regular and smooth-top ranges and comes with a 12-year limited warranty. Includes a 76-page instruction and recipe book with over 50 recipes.
