SHIPMENTSonic XL Scooter was delivered nicely packaged with no sign of any damage and all part included to finish the assembly.ASSEMBLYIt required a 15 minutes super easy assembly. First attach the head tube with the front base frame with 4 Allen key socket hex screws (included) and then secure the handle with the head tube, that's it. A hex key and a wrench was included to assemble the scooter. Included wrench to hold the hex nuts was a wrong size, what it needed was an exact 10mm socket bit.Instructions Manual explained all steps with illustrations. You do not need any mechanical experience to put it together.ASSEMBLED DIMENSIONSHandle grip is 4.5” widePlatform is 8” wide and 24” longFrom wheel to the handle grip – 36.5” heightGENERAL OBSERVATIONSFrame is solid steel and appears to be well built. It’s rough deck provides really good grip while standing.Overall appearance is very stylish and about 90% of the color is blackish. The break lever is not hard and can easily be pressed by kids 7+ ages. The mechanism to tighten/loosen the break is very simple (no experience required). Back and rare tires are inflatable and should be 36 psi. Manufacturer recommends using hand pump (not included) when inflating. An adaptor (included) goes on top of the tire nozzle and that’s where you will attach your pump. I have used my 3 gal. Compressor regulated at 40 psi and it worked just fine.Front or back, it came with no reflectors. But given its maximum speed, it would’ve been a safe and smart idea to have built-in back and front lights or least the reflectors. 24V battery is completely sealed so no safety concerns there. The battery powers the chain drive to spin the back wheel.USAGESince my 8 years old got his hands on it, he has been having a blast and I’ve become the coolest mom in the world. He of course shares it with his friends, ages from 6-10 and they all absolutely enjoy the ride.BATTERY LIFEOn a full charge, battery lasts about 45 minutes. The slower you go, the longer the time. A 110V charger is included but I am not sure how long it takes to charge. I however place it on the charge every night and its ready when the kids come back from school.All in all, it’s an awesome scooter and will make a great gift for any kid on any occasion. This is a great little scooter that's surprisingly zippy. Instructions are pretty thorough and I had this set up in about 20 minutes. Set-up is pretty straightforward: Pop on the head tube and handle and you're basically good to go.Good to know:- Weight limit is 150 pounds (So fun for adults on the smaller end of the spectrum)- Great battery life: I've had the scooter last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour.- Sturdy/Solid frame (better than I was expecting at this price point)All in all, I highly recommend this scooter. Great value for money. This scooter is lots of fun! I got it for my son, nieces and nephews to play with. They're all under 10, so obviously I was expecting it to be adaptable to young children, but it's not. It's too big and too powerful, so until they're ready, it's a toy for me to play with! Of course I would recommend you always follow the manufacturer's guidelines, but I just want to throw it out there that though the weight limit is 150lbs, I'm a 6'4" 200lb man and it performed beautifully when I stepped on. Acceleration is a bit slower with all that weight on it, but it still gets up to speed. And as far as quality - it's solid...I don't feel I'm stressing it at all.I really don't have any complaints. The neighbors may look at us funny, but my wife and I have had a lot of fun on this thing! #YOLO This is a fun little scooter. Assembles fast and easy. The instructions were very clear and accurate. The battery was already charged so it was ready to go in no time. The battery will last for about 30-40 minutes. The scooter is very sturdy. This scooter is pretty fast so make sure you and your child is aware of that. It is recommended for ages 13+. Very good quality and it looks very modern and stylish. Assembly is very easy as it took me about 10 minutes to assemble. All you need to do is put on the handle and handle bars on. About 8 screws and all the tools needed to assemble come with the scooter. It states it goes 13 MPH however when my daughter went for a ride it sure seemed a lot faster. I was impressed with the quality and modern look that this scooter had. I think a excellent value for the price.
